This course was really helpful as it helped me to discover and go through essential features of Linux and Windows OS and also to discover essentials powershell and Bash commands to perform many tasks.

Great course, lots of very challenging and useful information. You'll learn about Linux and some of the inner workings of Windows, plus lots of tools and programs that are really useful. Great course!

The course itself is very good! I have learned a lot! Cindy is a very engaging instructor. The problem was with Quicklab's bugs, many times I had to re-do the works because for some reason score for completed assignments was not given. That was very frustrating. Most problems are with Week 6 - Windows lab - VLC upgrade

I struggled with the Linux Graded Assessment. I'm a bit bummed, I should've learned it. On the windows side, I am pleased that I was able to understand Cindy, she's great! I'm nervous for the next Course... But, I got this!
Thank you so much. I really have felt invigorated in learning again.

The course is well thought and quite good overall.
The only flaw that I can think of is, it didn't cover as much in other operating system compare to Windows. There are some Linux (Ubuntu) but other operating system are generally ignored. Even so, Linux (Ubuntu) part was significantly shorted compare to Windows.

Some unclear instructions in the second-to-last graded lab. I didn't know what state the super secret file should've been in. did you want to just add write permissions? did you want to add everything?
otherwise I quite enjoyed entering the VMs to do some more practical things, instead of following quizzes

Overall, great course. You'll learn a lot of new skills here, especially if you are new to IT field, and never have any interactions with Linux before hand. However, there were minor issues that needs to fixed / re-checked, particularly in the Windows-based Graded Assessments (Week 3 + Final Assessment).

Overall great course for beginners or to refresh skills. Some tests have questionable answers, there are typos in some of the transcripts and some of the labs are laggy or won't give credit for correct answers. But hey, computers and software are buggy which is why we took this course in the first place!

In general the course was good, gave me general understanding of the main idea. still requires a lot of practice. i appreciate it that the last lab assignment required more independent work which was a good practice, unlike the other labs that gave a full explanation and the way to answer the question.

Not bad. Great information presented, but seriously lacking in repetition. Powershell vs CMD not properly explained (saw many complaints in forums). Thankfully I had lots of prior experience in terminal and Powershell. This was great reinforcement, but I would not recommend it as an entry level course.

I enjoyed these courses but I have to admit I feel like we are the first people running the google cloud labs as the qwiklabs are sometimes broken and don't function properly. This is discouraging when you only have so much time and I had to do them many times to pass after jumping through many hoops.

I found exemplar of qwiklab a bit difficult because I'm a student and on a beginner level so it was kinda difficult for me to do them. still I tried my best to complete them in every module but module 6 qwiklab were bit difficult. I hope it doesn't affect my score, I tried my best to do them.

I think we could've used a bit more hands on work with the different OS's. The labs are VERY straight forward, and when so much of this process is troubleshooting and figuring out what the best solution to a problem is, it felt like the floor dropped out from under me for the final assessment.

I would like to have had more references for the linux portion. The videos are great, but a reference to the commands would be very helpful. With more reference material, the lab would be more helpful and rewarding. Still a great course I am very thankful to be a part of this effort.

The course was very good. Especially the labs were very informative and helped me in analysing my skills. Also the Linux labs were very interesting. I would request you to put more content in the course. The content present is not so much useful, some advance content is also expected.

You have to practice if you really want to learn with this course, that will prepare you for the final lab. Sometimes while doing the labs, things don't go as planned, so be ready for a few surprises, luckily you can get help from support or come back to it when you better prepared.

Qwik labs problems were frustrating on the week 6 windows test. Known bugs have not been fixed, show up in google searches from a year ago. Advise people they need to update VLC to 32 bit and not 64 bit version please. Qwiklab customer service only tells you to watch videos.

I loved this course. The only flaw I have encountered was with week 3, the Windows lab. There were a number of issues with that lab, and from the discussion board it looks like many other people had issues as well. There were a number of "work arounds" that everyone came up.

This was an intense course because there was so much material and commands. However, with some practice and note taking it's not so bad. Especially, helpful when it came to doing the labs since it's hands on practice. I learned quite a bit and enjoyed this course quite a bit.

Very easy to digest the massive amount of information presented. The only reason the course didn't get 5 stars is because of the issues plaguing the labwork for windows. I was unable to use the spacebar in any of them and the final windows lab straight up crashed at the end.

A good course that gets you acquainted with manipulating OS. It makes it all less daunting. the instructor was a little impatient with explaining concepts but her external links did lead me to a better content to better explain what she was teaching. Overall, a good course.

I enjoyed having labs which allowed us to apply our learning. However, many user's experienced trouble connecting to some windows RDP sessions also due to the recent windows 10 spring update which required a work around. Inspite of this. The linux lab's all worked very well.

I really hate the changes you've made from having us connect remotely to what you've done now with the new tab in the browser. I realize it was for accessibility purposes but this was done incredibly poorly and was a great source of frustration of both myself and my cohort

Considering how dense this course is with information, I am satisfied with the overall flow and structure of the course. I've definitely come away from this course with a good foundational understanding of how to interact with computers from a more technical point of view.

The instructor was great; however, some modules didn't cover all the material in detail for the hands on exercises (the installation of VLC player on Linux) also the VM crashes from time to time. Other than that I am very satisfied with the course and the customer support

Learned a lot. I'm really happy with the labs, I wish there were just a ton more labs with more detail as to the different ways similar tasks could be accomplished, to tie everything together. I feel like some information is easy to glaze over when not used in practice.

For a 'mid-level begineer ' (not a full beginner with CLI (I had used command prompt before) but a full beginner with PS and bash certainly), I would recommend more practice exercises like the ones in the last quizz (providing outputs for us to determine the meaning).
