Mr. Ed is a superb thought provoking Instructor. Love him and enjoyed a lot while attending the course with a thorough in depth approach while delivering all the concerned lectures.

Good course especially for the basics of using GCP from a practical perspective. But I really wish that for the activities or labs they would just use the Qwiklabs setup that's there for the Google Cloud courses instead of relying on either the sandbox or free trial. Google Cloud already has a system setup with 糖心vlog官网观看 so I don't know why they didn't leverage it for the labs here. I would recommend that before anyone takes this course already covers a course on Dimensional Modeling. On 糖心vlog官网观看 there's a CUBoulder couse on it. There's many youtube videos on it. There's great UDemy courses on it. Because it is way too quick for proper coverage here. I don't think that means you need to pick up and read all of Kimball although if you are someone who picks up more from books that might be better for you. But this class doesn't cover it in enough detail/too lightly. If you already have a 糖心vlog官网观看 Plus subscription I recommend checking out the Google Cloud Big Query for Data Analysts course and the Google Cloud Data Engineer course series to accompany this one. This course however has you do actual business cases and is very practical in that way instead of doing labs with toy examples that those classes go over. I also wish this class went over Dataform, Google's version of data build tool (dbt) for material on Transforms as part of ELT.

Great course! A lot of good information about the foundations of pipelines and ETL Processes. Great intro to the different tools and Quality testing tasks we can perform to ensure our data is concise. But I would like you to recommend me best beginner courses related to SQL and Python in data management as well as a more profound course on how to use big query with more details behind SQL use and coding

It would have been great if you could increase the volume of the main instructor in this course. Additionally, I experienced some difficulties in understanding his accent compared to the instructor in the first course. However, he has been a wonderful guide throughout the course.

The instructor did an excellent job of explaining everything and making sure that we understood everything. The course was really engaging and well written out for the students to grasp.

This course slightly depends on the first course in the Google Certificate, so there must be an announcement or hint for this point.

This course is not bad, but not great. It is certainly good enough to be followed through, and I would recommend it. However, the structure is rather messy. For a course that teaches pipelines and rules, it lacks such clarity. The course should provide more context to the lessons, at the start or before videos, etc. For example, take the section on business rules - are they meant to be something always hardcoded into a pipeline? Are they rules agreed on by stakeholders and to be implemented one way or another, not necessarily always hardcoded? Etc. That information should be provided from the outset, not as a latter point. So that it can always be clear to the learner what exactly they are learning about. That was the strength of the Google Data Analytics course. The path was clear, and the necessary key points were drilled in again and again. Here, they relied too much on remembering terminologies from glossaries from way back, or having to Google to get additional information. Towards the end, with the exemplar - that's great and all to get some additional SQL code to work with, but what is the expected output? Even a screenshot of the first ten lines of the resultant csv file would have been nice. These kind of stuff. It is fine for someone, like me, who has experience already; but not all students are like that. I am sure every learner can reach the finish line, but the path can certainly be much more refined. Again, I do recommend the course. Just that it is not structured and formatted well. But the course still works.

Video content is the same as reading but much less in-depth, it didn't help to understand the topic at all. Final project Activity is not in-depth enough to understand any practical SQL or BI skills, but just spend time to know the GCP BigQuery file upload process. The whole course 2 is really disappointing compare with course 1.

Course topics were great and challenging, the main lecture instructor's pace was a bit slow and not as pedagogical as I would have liked. Instructor Mana's quote on being successful was the most insightful fragment of knowledge I learned in this course
