An excellent introduction to machine learning course is this one. I've learned a lot from this course about the ideas behind machine learning algorithms and frameworks. All of the topics are presented in great detail and with clarity by Andrew NG, a fantastic teacher.

Amazing course, very informative and beginner friendly. Only gripe is that the code taught in the video and the code in the lab works are of completely different complexity levels, would be better if more coding/hands-on experience would be given before graded labs.

Excellent videos and labs, clear explanations of technical details with emphasis on developing an intuition while learning the technical concepts. I enjoyed it and appreciated the use of current machine learning software frameworks in the videos and the labs.

I think this course gives a great introduction to different ML concepts such as: unsupervised learning, recommenders and reinforcement learning. After finishing the specialization students can start building their own projects and applying their knowledge.
