Jos茅 Lull es profesor asociado del Departamento de Ciencias de la Antig眉edad y de la Edad Media de la Universitat Aut貌noma de Barcelona y profesor de historia de Egipto del M谩ster Oficial en Lengua y Civilizaci贸n del Antiguo Egipto impartido por el Instituto de Estudios del Pr贸ximo Oriente Antiguo de la misma universidad.
Sus campos de investigaci贸n son la historia y la arqueolog铆a de Egipto durante el Reino Nuevo y el Tercer Per铆odo Intermedio, as铆 como la astronom铆a y la cronolog铆a del antiguo Egipto.
Se form贸 como egipt贸logo en el 脛gyptologisches Institut de la Universit盲t T眉bingen (Alemania) y ha sido investigador postdoctoral del mismo centro.

Jos茅 Lull is a professor in the Department of Ancient and Medieval Sciences at the Universitat Aut貌noma de Barcelona and he teaches Egyptian History in the Masters degree in Language and Civilization of Ancient Egypt offered by the Institut d鈥橢studis del Pr貌xim Orient Antic (Institute of Ancient Near Eastern Studies) of the same university.
His fields of research include the history and the archaeology of Ancient Egypt during the New Kingdom and the Third Intermediate Period and Ancient Egyptian astronomy and chronology.
He trained as an Egyptologist at the 脛gyptologisches Institut of the Universit盲t T眉bingen (Germany) and he has been a postdoctoral researcher at the same institution.
