Dr. Majed Al-Ghandour, holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from North Carolina State University and brings over 30 years of teaching experience across the UCI Division of Continuing Education (DCE), North Carolina State University (NCSU), and other academic institutions, including UVA, FSU, SCU, UMGC, SHNU, and PGU. He has designed and taught advanced courses in: Artificial Intelligence (AI): Deep Learning, ChatGPT, Copilot, Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language and Vision Models (LLMs, LLVMs, SLMs), Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents and Amazone Bedrock Data Science & Machine Learning: Introduction to Data Science, Data Engineering, Introduction to Machine Learning, Data Retrieval & Management for Analytics, and Fundamentals with AWS Analytics for Business Leaders: Exploratory Data Analysis for Big Data, Data Analytics and Visualization, Data Warehousing, Cloud Computing and Security, Project Management, Tableau, Power BI, and SAS Visual Analytics Corporate & Technical Training: Java, .NET, SQL Server, MySQL, SharePoint, Advanced Python, R, Minitab, and Cloud Application Development Dr. Al-Ghandour serves as an Adjunct Professor and Visiting Lecturer across undergraduate, graduate, and MBA programs, as well as continuing professional education, where he bridges engineering rigor with applied data analytics to promote evidence-based decision-making.
