there were modules with "upgrade to continue". either the course is free, or it isn't. coursera isn't quantum mechanics. it's not a superposition of "free", and "not free". i don't mind paying for a class, but what i do mind is signing up for a class, going through the first two modules, then being told to "upgrade to take/complete this assignment"

Honestly not worth anybody's time. 90% is youtube videos and that's the best part of the course. I'd recommend just searching for basic quantum computing learning on youtube. The rest of the course is repetitive, one video is included twice lol, and extremely hard to understand due to ESL presenters.

What a shameless money grab. They probably just stole the content and are reading it blandly without any interpretation. Take the IBM series. It is free and actual good, useful content.

The teaching method is very drab. It looks like the instructor is reading from a prompter or something. Also as the name suggests, Quantum computing for everyone should be taught in a more layman language. But it looks like since the instructor is reading from a prompter or something, he just gives sentences without trying to explain it in a more layman language like with some examples.

It was very tough for an introductory course. It can be made simpler for a novice to understand.

This is the BEST course I have done so far on 糖心vlog官网观看 - and I have done many. There was so much information provided - including excellent reference materials and sources of further reading. It was possible to learn so much more than provided in the course content due to this excellent additional material. Thank you - I so enjoyed this course.

This course was a deep dive into the fascinating world of quantum mechanics, superposition, entanglement, and how quantum computers are poised to revolutionize the future of technology. From learning the fundamental principles to exploring the potential applications in cryptography, optimization, and beyond, it was an eye-opening experience.

Great introduction and course! Wished it was longer and become a specialization.

I think the naming "For Everyone" is misleading. Maybe "for everyone in science" or so, but I had I hard time to follow the content as it sometimes was out of my "level of understanding". For context, I am a Tech Recruiter with 20 years of experience in BigTech and would generally consider myself being very technology interested and somewhat nerdy. Thinking about other "everyone" people in my environment, I am sure they would have opted-out much earlier. However, a good course to get a pretty detailed understanding including different types of algorithms, what they are good for in Quantum Computing etc.

Occasionally had challenges with understanding the speakers English. I really appreciated the simplified examples for wave and like the clock for periodicity. I also like the balance of videos and resources.

"A+" for effort. It's a strange course, spending lots of time on talking about generally known things or how great quantum mechanics, are, and then WOW jumping to "now please build a quantum circuit", all with a strong Indian accent and some mispronounced words. I think this is a great draft of a course, it would benefit from developing the middle section like quantum logic gates individually and cleaning up the texts the presenters are reading. The result was an increase of learner's knowledge on the chosen topic, thank you!

The concepts were not explained clearly. The content would benefit from more detailed and structured explanations. In the videos, several terms were introduced rapidly without properly defining or elaborating on them, which made it difficult to follow.
