About the Course

This course introduces the basics of Python 3, including conditional execution and iteration as control structures, and strings and lists as data structures. You'll program an on-screen Turtle to draw pretty pictures. You'll also learn to draw reference diagrams as a way to reason about program executions, which will help to build up your debugging skills. The course has no prerequisites. It will cover Chapters 1-9 of the textbook "Fundamentals of Python Programming," which is the accompanying text (optional and free) for this course. The course is for you if you're a newcomer to Python programming, if you need a refresher on Python basics, or if you may have had some exposure to Python programming but want a more in-depth exposition and vocabulary for describing and reasoning about programs. This is the first of five courses in the Python 3 Programming Specialization....

It's a must join course for the people who want to deep dive into the world of Python. I really loving this course very much. I wanna explore more hence opting for other parts of this specialization.

Great course and easy to follow. The only suggestion I have is to do lesson 2 the best you can then move on because some of the practice questions have answers from lessons that come after this one.

Very solid. I especially like the online textbook with the interactive problems. The lectures and the textbook covered the same material so I don't think you need both.

Excellent introduction to Python 3 that covers the basics well, highlighting some common "gotchas" and providing plenty of hands-on practice with small coding problems.

I thought this course

was well designed, and had a good amount

of practice

material. I thought

the pacing was appropriate

and it reinforced concepts well with examples.

It is a great introduction for Python in particular and programming in general. Although you will feel it a bit of slow if you know another programming language before.

This was a really good course. I took it right after finishing the Python for Everyone Specialization and found the topics flowed right into what I had just learned.

Me parece que las herramientas disponibles son muy 煤tiles. Permiten seguir el curso sin dificultades y entender los contenidos sin experiencia alguna en programaci贸n.

The instructor takes the time to explain the learning materials so they are very clear. There are plenty assignments and quizzes to apply newly acquired knowledge.

quite clear and the professors address every detail that might confuse me. And as the name suggests, it is just the basic part of python, so it is not hard at all.

A very good introductory course in Python. I learnt a lot and the exercises and final assignment were challenging to me and a good moment to apply what i learned.
