Fabulous course. I learned a lot of does and doesn't make us happy, and learned valuable tools for introducing and integrating new habits into my life that will definitely contribute to my well-being.

This course was well worth the time. Learning the science behind the happiness was much more that just believing in the power of positive thinking. This course really taught you what we think will make us happy and what actually does make us happy. Professor Santos is wonderful and i am listening to her podcasts also.

It's one thing to know that certain things might make you feel happy, and by extension make your relationships with others around you better, but it's another thing to see and hear the research behind how all of it works. And that it really does work. I loved this course and am so glad that I spent the time to take it!

I found this course very enjoyable. Professor Santos gives some useful pieces of advice to live a better life, strategies which were given are very useful, I think everyone would be pleased by the straordinarie effects of those tips after a while spent exercising your daily routine, your body, but especially your mind!

It was great to take time to focus on the things that are really important in our lives. Those things that sometimes we don't allow ourselves to acknowledge and that we usually take for granted.
Doing the course during the pandemic helped me look at the situation form another perspective and it helped me stay positive.

This was a fantastic course, thank you for the opportunity. It would have been beneficial to see the rubric for the final assignment before having to submit it. Also, I found it hard to relay the information I wanted to in the amount of sentences it said to use, a couple more sentences for each one wold have been nice.

Exceptional course. I've read many books on happiness and well-being, but none have had the same kind of positive impact on my life as this course. Teaching the science then giving specific assignments to put these known-to-work strategies into practice is an unbeatable combination. Couldn't recommend it more strongly.

I loved this course. It鈥檚 easy to do in small segments and Laurie is soooo interesting. I feel happy that I鈥檝e already actually been doing most of the right things but I feel it鈥檚 increased my confidence and that discovering meditation and mindfulnessness has helped me to slow down yet achieve more. The course was very beneficial to me, I believe it should be taught not only to undergraduate students but also to High School students so they understand themselves more and are able to make educated decisions. I am 44 years and never understood myself as much as I did after completing the course.

Dr. Santos provided a fun and meaningful way to learn and try new strategies to help increase personal happiness. It's incredibly refreshing to have someone who is an educator letting us know that grades are really NOT the most important thing in the world.
